The Russian regional trade fairs have been organised since 2003
wire Russia, the international wire and cable trade fair, includes wire and cable manufacturing and finishing machines, fastening and spring manufacturing machines, process technology and engineering, raw and auxiliary materials, special wires and cables, measuring, control and testing technology as well as other specialist areas. It takes place - every two years in early summer - at the Moscow Expo Centre, Moscow, and is primarily aimed at interested parties from the wire and cable production, spring production, connecting elements and other wire goods. It is also attended by trade visitors from the fibre optic cable industry, iron/steel and non-ferrous metal industry, automotive industry, construction industry, chemical industry, electrical industry and electronics, measurement, control and regulation technology, aerospace and telecommunications. The regional trade fairs wire Russia, Tube Russia, Metallurgy Russia and Litmash Russia have been organised since 2003 by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and Messe Düsseldorf Moscow - in partnership with the Russian public limited company VNIIKP. A compact presentation here ensures the creation of ideal synergies for exhibitors and visitors as well as short distances between the stands.
Since 2003, in addition to Russian exhibitors, many international companies have come to Moscow to fly the flag and present their products and services to the Russian and Eastern European markets. Since its foundation, the number of exhibitors has increased by 26%.
In addition to many exhibitors from Russia and its neighbouring countries, companies from Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland and Italy come to place their products and services on the Russian market, establish new business relationships and deepen existing contacts.
New at wire Russia 2019
The Russian leading trade fair for the wire and cable industry will be held for the first time as an individual trade fair in 2019 due to the high demand. Especially in demand are machines and systems from the wire and cable sectors, which are used both in the construction industry and in the field of digitization.
Together with its local partners Joint-Stock Company VNIIKP, Messe Düsseldorf is organising wire Russia together with its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow.
Economic Prospects of Russia
The Russian economy is recovering very slowly. The announced investments in infrastructure are intended to further improve the economic situation.
However, fundamental reforms that would be necessary for growth are not yet in sight. In addition, the new US sanctions make the recovery of the Russian economy, as well as the business of international companies, more difficult.
