Metallurgy Russia is an international trade fair for metallurgy, machinery, plant technology and their products. It covers equipment, raw materials and materials for metal processing. These include metallurgical technologies, but also welding, cutting, joining technology, work safety and ergonomics. The associated industry associations and trade media can also be found here. Metallurgy Russia, together with Litmash Russia, takes place annually at EXPOCENTRE Moscow. While Litmash Russia focuses primarily on foundry technology, Metallurgy Russia offers a central business platform for all metallic products on the Russian market. Over four days, exhibitors present the latest technologies and developments. Visitors from various specialist fields can get to know innovations from the fields of metallurgy, metalworking, mechanical engineering, energy, oil and gas and construction. Both trade fairs, Metallurgy Russia and Litmash Russia, take place annually in Moscow and are organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and Metal Expo. The exhibition section is supplemented by current seminar programmes.
In combination with Litmash and Tube Russia, Metallurgy Russia takes place every two years at the Moscow EXPOCENTRE. Metallurgy and Litmash Russia are organized by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, its Russian subsidiary and its joint partner Metal Expo.
Target group
Metallurgy Russia is aimed at representatives of the metalworking industry and comprises the product groups electrical engineering, iron and steel production, measurement technology, metallurgical equipment, steel smelting, non-ferrous metals, process control technology, rolling mills, steel works and steel production.
International Participants
Trade visitors and exhibitors mainly come from Russia, the neighboring CIS states and other Eastern European countries to present their products and services to the Russian and Eastern European markets.
Strong support
The exhibition duo Metallurgy-Litmash is traditionally supported by important partners of the industry, such as EUnited (European Engineering Industries Association), MC-CCPIT (Metallurgical Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade), CEMAFON (The European Foundry Equipment Suppliers Association) and CECOF (The European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations).
Economic Prospects of Russia
Russia's economy is making a temporary stop before a growth spurt is expected next year. As of 2020, the massive investments in national projects will have an impact on economic performance, as will the renewed increase in private consumption. However, the sanctions imposed by the EU as well as the USA still have a noticeable negative impact on the Russian economy.
