International Foundry Technology, Supplies and Castings Trade Fair
Litmash Russia is an international trade fair for foundry technology, accessories and castings. Together with Metallurgy Russia, it takes place annually at Moscow's EXPOCENTRE and presents innovations and technologies for foundry technology, castings and supplier products over a period of four days. Both trade fairs are central business platforms for the latest technologies and developments in the product groups of thermal process technology, foundry machinery, welding, cutting and joining technology. They are organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and Metal Expo.
Metallurgy-Litmash is one of the most important trading and contact platforms for the Russian market and neighboring countries. Over four days in Moscow, exhibitors will present latest technologies and latest developments from all sectors of the metalworking industry.
Additional offers
The trade fair appearance will be complemented by a highly topical seminar program in the METAL PLAZA business special zone. This area offers a series of roundtable discussions and meetings for manufacturers of metallurgical plants, foundries and the press forging segment. For the first time there was a presentation of leading Russian universities, where the perspectives of metallurgy and training of foundry personnel were discussed.
What to see
The entire metal spectrum is covered, from raw material extraction to the installation and maintenance of metallurgical plants to fully networked process technology for foundry technology and cast parts.
Strong support
Also on board are the BMWi (Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy), the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau) as well as the international industry associations CEMAFON (The European Foundry Equipment Suppliers Association), CECOF (The European Committee of Industrial Furnace and Heating Equipment Associations) and EUnited Metallurgy (European Metallurgical Equipment Association).
Economic Prospects of Russia
Russia's economy is making a temporary stop before a growth spurt is expected next year. As of 2020, the massive investments in national projects will have an impact on economic performance, as will the renewed increase in private consumption. However, the sanctions imposed by the EU as well as the USA still have a noticeable negative impact on the Russian economy.
