Equipment and Technologies for the Oil and Gas Industry
NEFTEGAZ presents the entire spectrum of the Russian oil and gas industry. It has been the leading trade fair since 1978 and is officially supported by the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Topics include technological innovations for the extraction and processing of oil and gas, products for transport and storage, machinery and equipment for the petrochemical industry, measurement technology, control technology, safety systems, environmental monitoring as well as health and safety. The National Oil & Gas Forum, which takes place parallel to the trade fair, offers a comprehensive overview of the latest technologies and scientific findings. Trade visitors will also have the opportunity to talk to prominent representatives from business and politics. NEFTEGAZ is organised by Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and its local partner AO EXPOCENTR and takes place annually at Moscow EXPOCENTRE.
The No. 1 in Russia
NEFTEGAZ has a long tradition and solid reputation as an effective professional platform for contracting, business contacts, exchange of experience and information on new technologies and state-of-the-art equipment for the oil and gas industry. It is the largest trade fair for the oil and gas industry in Russia and one of the top ten oil and gas fairs in the world.
Among the topics covered are the trends on the global oil and gas markets, the digitalisation of industry, the transformation of professions, economic priorities, new opportunities for international cooperation, geopolitical restrictions and technological partnerships.
The target group
Ministerial heads, top managers of oil, gas and engineering companies, relevant associations and leading media regularly take part in the congress and trade fair.
The supplementary programme
The National Oil & Gas Forum takes place parallel to NEFTEGAZ. Since 2014, both events have been held simultaneously. The close proximity of the Forum and the trade fair has created the most important trade fair and networking platform for the industry in Russia.
Economic Prospects of Russia
Russia's economy is making a temporary stop before a growth spurt is expected next year. As of 2020, the massive investments in national projects will have an impact on economic performance, as will the renewed increase in private consumption. However, the sanctions imposed by the EU as well as the USA still have a noticeable negative impact on the Russian economy.
