Taking the world-leading foundry technology exhibition to Latin America
By launching GIFA Mexico, Messe Düsseldorf is taking THE BRIGHT WORLD OF METALS to Latin America. The first edition of GIFA Mexico will be staged at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City from 16 to 18 October 2024, as a pavilion within FUNDIEXPO. Leading players from the foundry technology world will be showing latest innovations in NF-metals, iron and steel casting – along the entire value chains of foundries, and the downstream processing and metal-working sectors.

Economic Prospects of Mexico
Mexico is an important producer of raw materials such as sugar cane, corn, mineral oil, silver, gold and copper, as well as industrial minerals such as bismuth. With a population of almost 130 million, Mexico is an attractive sales market and Germany's most important trading partner in Latin America. There are currently around 2,100 companies registered with German capital participation.
