Economic Prospects of India
India's economy continues to grow at a high level and remains the fastest-growing emerging market. With more than 1.3 billion inhabitants, the country is of increasing global importance as a sales market and investment location. The economic reforms, which the government has been able to implement over the past 4 years, as well as a consumer-friendly middle class are boosting this development in the long term. With the campaign "Make in India", the subcontinent is trying to attract foreign direct investment.
